Milking Hygiene Training Continues

"Milking Hygiene and Sanitation in Dairy Farming” Trainings are continuing.

"Milking Hygiene and Sanitation in Dairy Farming” Trainings are continuing as part of “Sustainable Milk Hygiene Training Model for Safe Milk and Safe Future" Strategic Partnership Project, which is supported by the Turkish National Agency - Ministry of European Union within the scope of Erasmus+ Program Key Action 2 (KA2) Exchange of the Good Practices and Innovation for Cooperation in Vocational Education Strategic Partnerships Program Turkey, is carried on by the Provincial Directorate of Food Agriculture and Livestock.

We have programmed the trainings according to the training module that we have prepared within our Project which aimed to increase the expertise and skills of professional groups in the raw milk production sector and to raise raw milk production to EU standards in terms of hygiene criteria.

 By this time we have organised 32 training courses in 30 villages in Bozdoğan, Çine, Efeler, Germencik, Karpuzlu, Nazilli, Söke towns and 1258 producers/milkers participated thiese trainings.

18 Technical Personnel (Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineer, Food Engineer and Technician) from the Provincial Directorate of Food Agriculture and Livestock,  Department of Veterinary Medicine of Adnan Menderes University and Nazilli and Vicinity Agricultural Development Cooperative (ÖRKOOP) who were participated to the training of trainers in Söke Agricultural Education and Training Center (TAYEM), Adnan Menderes University Veterinary Faculty and Netherlands Dairy Training Center, have given teoratical and practical trainings  about Factors Affecting Quality of Hygiene, Raw Dairy, Milk Milking Methods, Dairy Milking Machine, Nutrition Factors Affecting the Place and Importance of Human Health, 12 Gold Rules for Milking, Maintenance and Cleaning of Milking Machines, Raw Milk Cooling, Storage and Preservation, Mastitis, Biosecurity in Cattle Breeding.
