The transnational Meeting of “Sustainable Milk Hygiene Training Model for Safe Milk and Safe Future" Strategic Partnership Project supported by the Turkish National Agency - Ministry of European Union within Erasmus+ Program Key Action 2 (KA2) Exchange of the Good Practices and Innovation scope for Cooperation in Vocational Education Strategic Partnerships Program Turkey, was held in Goutum- Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.
The main objective of this project is to improve the vocational qualifications/Competences of the professional groups working in the dairy farming sector by designing Milk Hygiene Training Module, Learning tools and materials including (printed, multi-media and online training tool), Training of Trainers, and Pilot Training Implementation of the Module. The objectives of this project are to prepare a training model for milk hygiene, to increase the expertise and skills of professional groups in the raw milk production sector and to improve raw milk production to EU standards in terms of hygiene criteria by designing Training Module, producing Learning tools & materials, Training of Trainers & Training Implementation of the Module.
The project Transnational Meeting was organised between 12 and 14 July 2016 and focused on the topics such as the project schedule, budget management, reporting, training module, transnational meetings and training of trainers to be organized under the project, the rules and practices of the Dutch and European Union on raw milk hygiene, practices and trainings. The project partner Dairy Training Centre organised work visits to the dairies during the milking operation in Dairy Training Centre and outside.
