The aim of the short-term learning, teaching or training activity was to improve the abilities and competences of the trainers.
Before starting to give pilot Vocational trainings of the produced Milk Hygiene Module, the trainers group consisting of 20 trainers (technical staff and academician) from AIGTHM, ADUFVM and ORKOOP were received trainers training in Aydın province firstly, and then they attended Milking Hygiene and Sanitation- Training of Trainers course and workshop in Dairy Training Centre in the Netherlands.
They have learned about the European dimension of milk hygiene, European vocational qualifications and complete their training.
This Learning/Training Activity contributed to the overall objectives (to improve the vocational qualifications/Competences of the professional groups working in the dairy farming sector and the increase milk hygiene conditions to EU Standards) in two ways; for their own professional development and increasing the efficiency of Pilot Vocational Training with the participation of over 1600 owner/milker/workers from dairy Cattle Enterprises by transferring EU approach on the trainings.
Within the preparation activities, The participants participated to the Training of Trainers course for five days between 21-25 November 2016 in SOKE TAYEM- Directorate of Agricultural Extension and Training Centre in Aydın.
Training of Trainers Program was implemented in DTC Dairy Training Centre/the Netherlands between 12 and 16 December 2016 for five days.
20 trainers improved their Vocational competences in Dairy Sector as the professional groups working in the dairy sector, observing the vocational system in its place, by job shadowing, observing the trainers giving training for dairy sector in Holland according to EU’s standards.
Their Training plan included the Trainings including background info on Dutch farming, visits to various farm types, and analysis of how to use the lessons learnt in the Turkish context.
The participants had a chance to compare the EU Current systems of vocational trainings in theory and in practise in Dairy Sector. They all prepared individual reports indicating the contributions of the teaching learning activity on their vocational competency and individual developments.
They have transferred good practises; the ways, methods or approaches of EU vocational training into their training practices in Turkey. The teaching learning Activity enabled them to improve their vocational knowledge, experience and competencies according to EU Standards.
They improved their language competency and communication with the people from another culture. Team work ability, improving English skills and competences for making research and conclusions were the goals achieved by teaching learning activity.

After the participants had the Training of Trainers course and the Module & Learning Materials were prepared, Pilot Trainings were planned and implemented.
These trainers have been involved in all trainings for the farmers/milkers/workers.
